Chit is a year long durational installation that explores the life force stored and released by 328 potatoes hanging from the ceiling of the Sidney Nolan Trust farmhouse kitchen. Each of the potatoes is searching for light and growth in a dark space.
In a strange inversion the of life we are given the opposite view of this growth as we walk into a subterranean world beneath the soil.
